4-H Mom a.k.a. Cathy Notturno
| We are a family of six in Eastern Washington State lucky enough to live
with two whippets and two shelties. All are boys except for a female
sheltie. My kids are all females with one boy! The Whippet Lovers Board
has been a great source of information and inspiration! Jack is a
two year old white and fawn male. We decided Jack needed someone his speed
so we got Chase who is Jack's nephew. Chase, white, fawn and brindle will,
hopefully, be a show dog - WildAspen's Grand Illusion. Jack and Chase tear
around the yard and wrestle together. Velvet and T'tonka are bi-black and
tri-colored shelties. The two breeds get along well and everyone loves to
chase a frisbee! My kids were involved with 4-H showing Velvet and Jack
but have lost interest. I do have hopes that our youngest will continue
with 4-H when she is ready.
