Beau's Mom a.k.a. Judy Adams
| I just recently lost my "little ole man" Beau. he was a blue
and white brindle...(turned white as he aged)...he was the most
unbelievable dog I have ever owned...these dogs bond at the heart and give
so much affection and love it is hard to imagine...he would look across
the room at me with those loving eyes and watch every move I made...(many
dogs won't look you in the eye)...whippets seem to love to do that...they
look into your soul it seems...he was my loving companion for 15 years
...and the hardest thing I ever had to do...was to put him to sleep...it
was his time and he was suffering...I couldn't stand to see that...he was
my friend...(it was terminal congestive heart failure). before it got so
bad he couldn't breathe...I took him to the vet and had him gently put to
sleep in my arms...I have cried for about 6 weeks now. I've had dogs all
my life...(I'm 59 years old). but I've NEVER had a dog as special as
Beau...I encourage you to get one of these fine regal animals...they truly
are... the dog world's best kept secret...you'll never be sorry...when I'm
ready....I will get another one...life does go on...and I'm sure I'll see
