Bentley is our first whippet and is just a pet. He is my baby and very spoiled. He sleeps with us and has mountains of toys. We got him at 11 weeks old and he has grown so much. He is now about 20 1/2 inches tall and weighs about 25-27 lbs. He is a sable brindle with white blaze on his face, white chest and forelegs and white tip on his tail. I, of course, think he is adorable.

He is very loving and a real momma's boy.

I was so glad to find this board, as it is full of information and fun things about whippets. (I have to pause because he is ringing his bell to go outside) I'm back. Bentley is such a good boy. Our only real problem so far has been carsickness. Several people gave some good replies

to my post several weeks ago. We are working on getting used to the car harness and the car in the driveway at present. He did well at basic obedience with rewards so I'm hoping the same thing will work with the car. Bentley loves people and soaks up the attention he gets when we go to events down town. I'm looking forward to the day we can get there without oceans of drool and a barf bag.

I'd love to hear from any whippet owners in my area who might know a good place to take him to run and about any whippet events.

I am hoping to include some pictures but my internet expertise leaves much to be desired. So, cross your fingers.
