Bernie, My best Pal a.k.a. Nat
| Hi, my name is Nat I am a male and live in the North East of England. My
whippet recently died and I am truly lost without him, I have never know
such a faithful dog (friend) as him. I could never imagine anyone being so
distraught about a dog dying until it happened to me. Bernie was the love
of my life full of energy and some much love to give regardless what hour
I came home he was there to greet me, how can I ever get over this feeling
of loss. People tell me I should get another whippet! but how do I replace
the faithfulness that I had with him.
I read the whippet lovers board and see the photographs of other whippets and understand how much their owners love their individual dogs, but still I cannot see how another whippet will replace my Bernie. What should I do? how do I carry on with the memories of my dog? how do I replace the feel of his soft coat and the wetness of his nose as he kissed me on my ear?
