Bailey is my humane society girl; she's half whippet- half foxhound (that's my best guess). I learned a lot about whippet behavior and appearance once I discovered this web site and some others. I just had to get me a whippet; especially since Bailey was such a great dog. So I adopted Brenham from a breeder this September. He's so sweet; not a mean bone in him. He just adores Bailey and sticks by her. I think they love each other more than me :(

Both of my dogs are named after towns in Texas. I pulled out a TX road map to find a name and Bailey sounded like a great name for her. I had to continue the tradition with Brenham.

So far Brenham minds pretty good for a pup; although I live in an apartment and he can get rambunctious. Running off with and shredding magazines on the coffee table is his favorite thing. I think he loves the sound of the paper ripping and me yelling his name. In the meantime I take them to the dog park a couple of times a week. I am interested in trying some lure coursing just for fun. If anyone knows of where to go in the central TX area please let me know.
