Bungee & Twiggy’s Mom a.k.a. Christie Harty

all! We live in Sherwood
Park, Alberta, Canada and have 2 wonderful whippets, Bungee, born May 2002
and Twiggy born May 2003. Bungee is from wonderful show stock and is a
beautiful black brindle with four white socks, white front chest and a
white point on his tail. He was the smallest of the litter but not so
small as to be called a runt. He has done some obedience, 2 rounds of
agility so far and is just starting to course. He is our sweet, timid boy
and a real lap warmer. Twiggy on the other hand is his exact opposite. She
moved in at 8 weeks old and took over the place. She is a fireball of
energy and is into everything. She is in her second round of puppy school
right now and I am getting her into agility and coursing as soon as I can
in the spring to expend that energy! She is from excellent coursing and
show stock and will be shown by her breeder in the new year. Twiggy is a
parti colour, white with blue and blue/fawn brindle patches. She is
gorgeous! They are both treasured members of our household and we can’t
imagine life without them. Thanks for all the great posts. We had been
reading up on whippets for over a year before getting our first and are so
