Chase & Tahoe's Mom a.k.a. Laurie
| I am a stay at home Mom with a husband, 17 year
old son, 12 and 7 year old daughters. We live in Leesburg VA which is 30
miles north of Washington DC. Chase is my fawn, 2 and a half year old male
and his half brother is Tahoe who is 10 months old. Tahoe is a fawn
brindle with a black mask. They are both from the Shadowline kennel here,
in Va. I acquired each puppy when they were 6 weeks of age. I had the time
and considered them as new born babies so I was ready for the potty
training. Chase is a very calm boy. I have always called him, an old man,
even as a young puppy. He puts up with the antics of my seven year old who
loves to dress him up. Such a trooper, actually, I think he likes it. He
never objects and will wear it all day if he must. Tahoe is all puppy,
very mischievous but still a calm boy like his brother. They have the same
mother. I feel that I have one dog, in two bodies because they do
everything together. They even eat out of the same dish at the same time.
However, my cat will drink water out of the dog dish at the same time as
they are eating too. At present I sometimes have to leave the dogs alone
for 6 to 7 hours. They have the run of the kitchen and family room. So far
in 4 months, no surprises. They sleep the entire time. Neither one is an
Alpha Dog. They know that my husband is the Alpha male in the house. He
grunts and both boys bow down.
