I live in Calgary,
Alberta Canada with my boyfriend Mitch, our Ragdoll cat Squiddy, my
FEI Dressage horse Ziggy and, of course, our two Whippets,
Derby and Jasper.
Derby, pronounced
Darby and short for "Derbyshire". Show name: Poseidon
Neaja Tall Poppy, born May 2002, is our first Whippet and
can't be more loved. Derby is a conformation show dog, takes
obedience and agility classes and also lure courses. Her
favourite sport is sleeping which she really excels at. Her
favourite food is cheese and absolutely loves the words "chewy
bone". She is definitely a "daddy's girl".
Jasper, show name:
Surrey Hill's British Splendor, JC, born July 2002, joined our family in
May of 2004. He is a wonderful gentle dog who only has eyes for his
mommy. Jasper's favourite foods are pumpkin seeds and crunchy
salmon cat treats. His favourite sport is following me around day
and night. Jasper is now taking his first obedience class.
Coming from the Southern US, he is going to be in for a big shock come
winter.
I learn so much from
everyone on this board in the past couple of years and I also have
made many friends too. Thanks Andrea for doing such a good job and
thanks to the members who always give great advice.
