Gary a.k.a. Gary Wellborn
| My wife, Tina, and I live in the rural, southwest
Atlanta area. We own two Whippets, Comet, and his mother, Willow. We
hadn't had a purchased puppy in over 17 years, and after having had
several fantastic ex-racing Greyhounds, we wanted a Whippet, simply a
seemingly small version of a Greyhound. Man, were we wrong! Comet, for
three years has been one busy little boy! Willow, only 18 months older
that her son, has supported him in his mischief 100%. Now three years old,
he's finally becoming the sweetest little guy we've ever known, and
exactly what we saw in his father, Ryan, at the time we bought Comet. He's
trying his best to make us forget what he was like his first three years.
He's been a riot, though, making him one of the funniest dogs we've ever
owned. His offcial name is Ryan and Willow's Wild Comet.
We currently own 10 dogs: two Whippets, two Greyhounds and six strays we've picked up at various times over the years. Dogs are our life, and I'm sure we share that same sentitment with many of you folks. Tina and I are currently in the planning/pre-building stage of entering a pet boarding kennel business, about to live out a longtime dream of ours.
