My name is Jini Druliner and I live in Silver Spring MD. I had 2 Afghan hounds when I was in my 30's and fell in love with the sighthound personality.  In 1998 I adopted an ex-racing greyhound, Mikey who is now 7, and renewed my interest in sighthounds.  Then I found whippets!  I cared for a friend's whippet for a weekend and that was all I needed.  I got in touch with Whippet Rescue and soon had a 6 month old fawn and white boy whose testicles had not descended so he could not be shown.  He is originally from Sanctuary Whippets in Detroit Michigan. His name is Patch and he is now 3 years old.  I spend all my time thinking and talking about whippets and greys. If I could start my life all over I would fill it with these lovely dogs.  As it is, I board sighthounds (greys and whippets) in my home in MD so I can be surrounded by these delightful guys. The picture of Patch was taken early one morning when he was still snuggled under my sheets.  I love it.  Someday I'll send one where you can see him!  Mikey 's picture was taken when he was just off the track and didn't quite know what to think about this effusive person who kept hovering around him. Both are now such sweet cuddly boys and are so good with all the dogs that come through our home.
