Lance
| Hello, are names are Lance and Paola. Our Whippet's name is Wiley. When
we first set out to get a dog, we were interested in adopting a greyhound.
We had some concerns however about their size. I was in a bookstore one
day and decided to look through the dog section to read some info on
greyhounds. This is when I came across the Whippet. The more I read all
the great things these books had to say about Whippets, I was convinced
that this was the dog for Paola and I. That night I got on the internet to
look for breeders in our area. I found several and sent out looking for
pups. I got a reply from one in New York that had two pups left. That
weekend we made the trip up, and just like that, we had a wonderful
addition, a brindle and white little boy.
Wiley is now ten months old (1-8-04). He has brought so much joy to the two of us, we couldn't imagine life without him! He has presented us with some unbelievable challenges thusfar in his puppy stages, but with web boards like this we are learning a lot, and quickly. His love and devotion all make up for it!!
