My beautiful boys were born February 3, 2002, and are red and fawn brindled. I got them from Hi-Tor Sighthounds in Upstate New York. They have Starline and Saxon Shores in their lines, amongst others. I do not show; my boys are just pets--but I really enjoy going to dog shows and other dog events. We'd like to lure course at some point if we can. De Soto is a very keen, coordinated, and speedy boy. He is a born runner!! La Salle--well---he could care less about chasing much and prefers sleeping!!!

I also enjoy volunteering for a local greyhound adoption group (Friends of Greyhounds).We got Sophie at our local greyhound racetrack. She had only raced 2 weeks before we got her. She just turned 3 in December 2002.

The whippets and Sophie get along very well. They chase each other like crazy around the yard and have a great time. We are moving in January 2003 and will have more room for them to run around. They don't like cold weather much, yet love wearing their coats and snuggling in warm down blankies when they come in after walks!
