Logan the dumpster dog... a.k.a. Wendy Wilmoth
| Four years ago My husband and I went to our local greyhound rescue to
look at dogs, and we walked out with Logan. They don't usually have
whippets, but Logan was an emergency. A lady was taking her garbage to the
local dumpster and arrived to see a man dumping a dog into it. She and her
son fished him out and, since he looked a little like a greyhound, they
took him to Greyhounds Galore. We fell in love with him immediately and
he's been our baby ever since. We don't know where he came from, but he
fits the breed standard in all ways but one: When his ears are alert, they
defy gravity and stand straght up! He's a beuatiful fawn color and to me
he looks like a baby kangaroo. Sometimes when we go for a walk, people
think he's a small deer. He has the sweetest disposition- he's more a
little person than a dog. He has perfect manners (although he does jump up
if he's excited) and he loves to catch treats in his mouth! This year we
got Logan a buddy: an IG named Cosmo. They are inseparable! I'll always
