Mabel's Mom a.k.a. Mari
| Hi! My husband and I own Mabel, a 20-month old female whippet. Mabel has
been with us since July of last year (9 months now). She is the sweetest
creature we have ever met. She is also very affectionate yet
independent and, unsurprisingly, quite mischievous. We live in
Brooklyn, NY, a few blocks from a park that we take Mabel to daily. She so
loves to run and play that no weather condition - except for extremely
heavy rain - deters her (and therefore us) from trips to the park. There
are a few whippets in our neighborhood that we occasionally run into and
play with at the park. So far we have taken Mabel to a few non-competitive
agility classes and are considering introducing her to lure coursing.
