Mom of 2 a

My husband and I got married 5 1/2 years ago and right after we got married we decided to get a dog. At first I wanted a Greyhound, but we didn't have a fenced in yard at the time. One of the Greyhound rescue homes we visited had a Whippet, which got us started in that direction. My husband spent awhile looking for Whippet pups, when one day a vet he had talked to called and told us about a guy that might have some. We called him and amazingly enough he had a litter that was ready to go. He was breeding them to show, but we weren't interested in that, we just wanted a pet. Little did we know at the time what good breeding these girls came from. Their dad was "Luke" from the Sporting Fields Kennels. We got Maggie, (the one laying down) at 8 weeks. After 6 months I decided I wanted another and we called the guy we got Maggie from and luckily he had kept one of her sisters out of the same litter. He was going to show her, but I guess she didn't make the cut, so he told us he would give her to us, and that's how we ended up with these two bed hogs.
