Mikey's Mom a.k.a. Daryl Whiting
| I belong to one whippet, named Mikey. He's just a puppy, and soon
to come home to a family that needs him very much. I have a 12 yr.old son
that's fighting depression. We just lost our big dog. Everyone is feeling
lost here, the little dog, the cats, my son, my husband and especially me.
You see, Lucy was my son's dog, but I was her person. She was my watchdog, my
shoulder to cry on when things got tough. Lucy was an SPCA adoptee, part
pitbull and part Dobe. She was very sensitive and kind and had a heck of a
sense of humor. She looked and ran much like a whippet, so I wonder just
who did " jump the fence " We are excited to be getting Mikey.
Breeder says his name is Mercury, but we need to see what name fits this
