Montana a.k.a. Beth
| We are brand new Whippet owners from Narragansett, RI. We received our
"little bundle" a few weeks ago. Her name is Montana and is a
four month old female brindle. She has definitely been everything I read
about from the no barking to all the love she has to give! The only
concern I have is potty training. Although when "taken" outside
(picked up and taken out the door) she has no problem with going. She is
giving no signs of "wanting" to go out herself. Which then means
more "accidents" if we wait for her. Is this typical in this
breed to be "lazy"? Is it because we do it for her or maybe
because of the cold weather? If anyone has any info, it would be much
appreciated. We'd like to know what we are doing wrong. Other than this
set back, she has been a real joy!
