My name is Lisa and I am an actuary from Toronto, Ontario, Canada! I'm 26 and Payton is 15 months old and is my first Whippet. I've always been a HUGE animal lover and couldn't wait to get a puppy... once I decided it was the right time, I spent months researching different breeds and decided that the Whippet was the one for me! It was definitely the right decision. Payton is a GREAT companion and suits my lifestyle perfectly. It has been a bit of a sacrifice, being single, having a demanding career and having a puppy, but I have a great dog-walker who takes Payton to the doggie park daily...he's hangin' with his friends from noon 'til 3:00PM every day!! Payton is well-adjusted and happy and I'm grateful to have someone to give me kisses when I come home from work!! I'm planning on an equine addition to our little family this Summer!
