Quinn's Mom a.k.a. Natasha Wendt
| The Mighty Quinn (otherwise known as Quinny, Quinneroo, Monkey Boy, and
a whole host of other nick names) was born August 23, 2001, and came to us
as a 13 week old pup. He is currently the only dog in our family (we also
have two cats, Charlie and Sally Brown) and as a result gets wholly
spoiled by us and his grandparents, whom we suspect are probably more
interested in seeing Quinn whenever we come over than they are in seeing
us. We had early ideas of getting Quinn involved in lots of things:
agility, flyball, lure coursing, etc., but he's resolutely a happy house
dog, playing daily with his people, multitudes of toys, content to rebound
off furniture and chase a plastic bag in the backyard for a little while
and then spend the rest of the day snoozing. We live in Iowa, where there
aren't many whippets, and he's become something of an ambassador for his
breed. People are always interested in him, and he does a very good job as
they pet and admire him. Every day we're amazed at how lucky we were to
get Quinny. He's an extraordinary little dog who brings us limitless joy,
much laughter and unconditional love. What can I say - he's our baby!
