| I've had whippets for about ten years -- my daughter tricked me into the
first one (I thought they were too skinny and didn't have enough hair, but
then I had shown, bred, and rescued collies for 20 years) Well, she is
married and moved to Boston (taking our original two whippets with her)
and here I am with more whippets! They really are addictive. My husband
Walt and I live in Lexington, Virginia, and we rescue, love, sometimes
show, and occasionally breed whippets. We have a general dog owners'
education list called Petdogs-L at Yahoo, and our website is at http://timbreblue.com.
I've "stopped by" and enjoyed this board for months and it
finally occurred to me to put a shortcut to it on my desktop so I can
remember to come here daily. There aren't many flame-free places on the
