Shelby and I have been very thankful for some of the great information and feedback from the board. Unfortunately, it seems to load sooooo slowly on my computer that patience seldom accommodates the desire to catch up with posts. Must be a Mac thing...:)

Shelby was diagnosed with Addison's disease last year and the board was very supportive while we tried to figure things out. There is little more comforting than sympathetic ears and a whippet in your lap when things get turned upside down. Shelby went through the ringer for a while, losing near twenty-five percent body weight and spending several days in the emergency clinic while being diagnosed. She is now back to her fighting weight of 33-34 pounds and with her monthly DOCP shot and a little prednisone each day, we're tearing it up.
