I have always loved whippets from a distance, and spent close to a year researching and searching before Casper came home with me in November of 2003. He was well worth the wait though! Casper was born 12/02 and is mostly white, so he pairs up fabulously with Obie the black lab who is only 5 days older. They love to chase balls and wrestle and collapse in a heap together. I would like to take Casper to some racing practices in Portland (our obedience trainer has racing whippets, and has offered the occasional ride) so that he can really stretch out and run. Mostly I like to curl up with him and feel his softness.
