| Hi! My name is Liz, and I'm a junior at the University of
Alabama. I fell in love with whippets about 2 years ago, when I met one at
a party. Funny enough, I didn't want to be there, and Thomas (the whippet)
got off his chair and snuggled with me on the couch. Unfortunately, I
can't own a dog right now, the pet deposit is ridiculous, and I don't
really have the time for a whippet. But my boyfriend and I have both
decided that when we're married after school, and settled into our new
life (he'll be in the Air Force after we graduate) that we'll start our
search for the perfect whippet. I've done tons of research and love
reading this site. I can't wait until I have my own little snuggly bouncy
whippet stories to share with everyone. Thanks for all the great
information and keep posting the hilarious and informative stories. I'll
try and send in a picture of my dog that lives with my parents (Lucy)
soon, I call her my whippet wanna-be b/c she has a lot of whippet traits.
