My name is Jeannie. I live in California with my husband, son & Whippet, Cliff. We learned about Whippets after an internet quiz determined that a Whippet would be our ideal breed of dog (I think it was because of the short hair). After that, we babysat for a Whippet and really, really liked him. So after a lot of research, we bought Cliff who was eight weeks old (now he's a year old). Now, I think we'll always have Whippets. We love the sweet, friendly personalities they have. We don't know many Whippet owners, so have really enjoyed visiting this board.
