Kathy Sue
| i am owned by 2 whippets and 1 Italian greyhound.
Earl: male, black with white blaze, 12 years old. Dicey: female, black with white blaze, 6 years old. Bella: female, grey with white blaze, 3 years old. (Chicklet is bella's nickname) We live in center city Philadelphia. I am a vet tech and able to bring the girls to work. we have a 2 hour walk each way and stop at 3 doggie parks. Needless to say they have many, many friends, dog and human. Dicey is a retired show dog i got through a rescue. she is extremely polite and well mannered. She has adopted Bella as her baby. Bella was a rescue from an owner who didn't have enough time to care for her. She was very nippy when she first moved in with me, now she has been socialized. She is the dog park "show off". (how very Iggy of her!) Earl stays home now due to sore old legs and an aggression problem. He has to be walked later when sidewalks are not full of so many people. He has been leash aggressive his whole life. we have been through many trainers, behaviorists and now on drug therapy. The drugs do not slow him down, just stops the spinning /barking /lunging. He does still bark at people aggressively and i never have been able to find a pattern among the people he has chosen. He has his chance to run when we visit my dad on weekends. Even though they are city dogs. They seem content. i pretty much have devoted my spare time to walking them and running them. I have made many friends in the dog parks as well, so it has been a great experience for my dogs and i to have found one another.!!! Email: lasquisha@aol.com
