We got Riley when she was 10 weeks old from Sandra Bell “our“ breeder who resides in Temple Texas. We say “our” breeder because Sandra has been so much help, she feels like family to us.

Rubin came to us because his new owner was experiencing failing health. Rubin is a full time whippet! We are Thankful for the opportunity to have Riley's natural brother (from the same litter). Rubin is all boy and Riley is the sweet little girl everyone would want to have. They spend their days living the good life under the big sky of the great state of Texas.

Our family is like so many whippet families. We love our dogs! Riley and Rubin have become the center of our family life here in Dallas. I know some folks think people like us are nuts but they just don’t own a whippet! We were warned that one whippet soon becomes two and so on. Where will all the madness end?

Trudy, my wife of 25 years, is a Decorative Painter and Muralist. She will paint “anything” that stands still long enough. She has done this for many years now. GOD has given her so much talent. I often say, “ Every good man needs a great woman.” I think I did very well in finding her for my wife!

I am a modern day “migrant worker.” (I work with computers for an outsource company; ACS here in Dallas.)

Rachel, our natural daughter is 21-years-old and enrolled in a local community college studying business. I have always been good with my hands and Trudy is the color specialist / painter. Rachel was given the best from both of us and is an awesome talent.
