My partner Marvin saw a whippet 10yrs. ago and fell in love the with breed. We finally got our Devo 3 months ago. (we thought we were being clever with the name, little did we know). We couldn't ask for a better dog.

We live in the Uptown neighborhood of Chicago right on the lake. There's a great off-leash area a couple blocks away that we take Devo to every day. When we walk into the dog park everyone yells "Devo!" Most people can't believe that a whippet could be so outgoing. He greets everyone and plays with the other dogs like a pro.

Devo's 5 mos. now and we're obedience training right now. We're looking into Fly ball for next year.

Both of us are forever sold on the whippet. We look forward to the new postings every day.
